Our favorite Hansen brother has returned with some new music for our ear holes! After almost six years, Beck has returned with new music and a follow up to 2008’s Modern Guilt. His latest record, Morning Phase, is set for a February 25th release via Capitol Records. The first taste of the new record is the single “Blue Moon.” Following in the ways of his 2002 release, Sea Change, Beck focuses more on his acoustic singer-songwriter side.
I’ve really been enjoying this track and cannot wait for the album release, especially after hearing that most of the album was record in Nashville with Jack White. The track itself is one that could fit right in with Sea Change, which makes me excited, because that’s one of my favorite Beck records. If you’re a fan of the HBO show “Girls,” be on the lookout for “Blue Moon” to be featured on a future episode.
“Blue Moon” is currently available for purchase on iTunes, along with a preorder for Morning Phase.
