Monday:
Warriors vs. Spurs 9:30pm EST, TNT – This series becomes immediately more interesting due to the injury to OKC guard Russell Westbrook. Stephen Curry shot the lights out in the first series (.468 FG%/.424 3p%/1.000 FT%). Can he continue it against the far stingier Spurs defense?
Twins vs. Red Sox 7:10pm EST – As of today, pitcher Clay Buchholz is the best pitcher in baseball. The right-hander is 6-0, but takes the mound for the first time since being accused of throwing spitballs in Toronto.
Bruins vs. Maple Leafs 7:00pm EST – Toronto will host its first playoff hockey series in 10 years. Expect fireworks.
If you’re a Lakers fans, don’t worry, Magic Johnson will be on The Tonight Show, presumably to talk about the Lakers demise.
Tuesday:
Canadiens vs. Senators 7:00pm EST, CNBC- A hockey game broke out during this fighting series. This should be playoff hockey at its best.
Indie Pop band Fitz and the Tantrums release their second full-length album, More Than Just a Dream.
Wednesday:
Blues vs. Kings – This series returns to St. Louis for game five.
Bill Simmons will visit his old chum Jimmy Kimmel for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Thursday:
Blue Jays vs. Rays 7:10pm EST – The two 2012 CY Young award winners, R.A. Dickey and David Price face off on the mound.
Friday:
Make sure you brush up on your high school literature because The Great Gatsby is coming out. NPR Music is streaming the soundtrack for free. Jay-Z is on it, so you know it’s got potential.
Also the documentary Venus and Serena is coming out. It looks to be pretty fantastic.
Saturday:
Kristen Wiig is returning to Saturday Night Live to host with musical guest Vampire Weekend.
