J. Cole used part of his sophomore album ‘Born Sinner’ to vent about a low point in his career during “Let Nas Down.” The song was written after Cole found out that Nas didn’t like his first single “Work Out.” In a pretty great hip hop moment, Nasir responded this weekend by rapping over Cole’s original beat and letting the young man know he definitely approves. “How that sound? Here’s the crown, pass it to you like nothin’/You ain’t let Nas down.”
