I go to concerts for two reasons: for the music and for the people. I went to a Zac Brown Band concert last night. I think I saw them perform once on SNL or the Grammy’s or something like that. I didn’t go for the music. I went because a friend of mine is moving to Atlanta to continue to work for the band. I had already violated the two reasons I go to live performances. I was barely inside the venue when I realized the importance of a performers’ following or “people”. The wrong following will greatly affect impressionables like me who are open to different talent but don’t have a clue what your sound is (and still don’t).
Why your groupies matter
