Terry Bradshaw is not one to sugarcoat epic accounts or omit the best NSFW parts of an NSFW story, especially when he’s feeling giddy and/or feisty, which is always.
The former Steelers Super Bowl-winning quarterback and current FOX NFL Sunday analyst chatted with USA Today’s For the Win staff about everything from winning multiple titles, his FOX colleagues and even his acting career, one that included a random appearance in Matthew McConaughey’s 2006 movie Failure to Launch.
Matthew. Super nice guy, golly. You know the one thing I was surprised about. We were going to play golf one day and it didn’t pan out. And he’s such a big football fan but I can’t recall us ever talking football. And he’s the star so I didn’t have the relationship with him that Bradley Cooper and [Justin] Bartha had. But there’s one scene where I got naked in the naked room and when I finished doing it I couldn’t wait to put my clothes on. Because I was going home, I’d been on the set for six weeks and I was going home. So that was the last scene for me.
But you shoot a master and then you shoot an over-the-shoulder, they shot over Matthew to me. It was my close up. And then it’s his turn so they got to shoot the camera on him, so I go back to my trailer which is quite a walk….
