It was announced this week that HBO would carry five seasons of long-running children’s show Sesame Street. It seemed like an odd pairing for a network that has become synonymous with R-rated movies, TV shows and adult programs over the last decade, but HBO was well-known for their family friendly programming long ago and still carries some children’s programs today.
As many older folks reminisce about their Sesame Street-loving days by browsing old photos or even watching bits of episodes, there’s one Sesame Street video you probably don’t remember. The show has inspired numerous parody videos over the years, including this one that will haunt your dreams forever.
It’s an older video (2010) but it didn’t receive much attention at the time. The renewed attention could generate a few extra views. It mashes Sesame Street with Seven, the intense 1995 psychological crime thriller. Watch as the voices of Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman join forces with the kind Sesame Street characters to create one creepy mashup:
