In case you didn’t figure it out on last weekend’s Game Of Thrones, The Mountain is not a guy you want to mess with. This video comes from a weight lifting competition this past April and shows Hafþór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson, the Icelandic strongman competitor who was cast as The Mountain in Season 4 of GoT, deadlifting 994 pounds. Yes, 994 pounds. (He still lost to this guy.)
Once again, you should not mess with that man.
However, he does have a soft side as well. Here he is dressing up as The Hulk for a three-year old’s birthday party. It’s adorable yet still somewhat terrifying.
