Mel Gibson was in court today making funny faces and wrapping up a custody battle that went on for months. Mel Gibson was ordered to pay ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva $750,000 and share joint custody of their two-year-old daughter, Lucia. Gibson will pay Grigorieva the funds over five years and she will be allowed to live in her multimillion dollar Los Angeles home until their daughter turns 18, at which point the house will be sold and the funds from the sale be placed in their daughter’s trust.
This is part of the same case where recorded phone calls of Gibson making anti-Semitic and racist comments were released. Grigorieva also claimed that Gibson had punched her twice in the head and knocked two of her teeth out.
Grigorieva’s lawyer said now that the battle is behind her, she will focus on raising her daughter and working on her music career.
