NBC Sports Network has officially cancelled Michelle Beadle’s sports talk show The Crossover this week. Beadle herself confirmed the news on Wednesday.
It’s somewhat of a surprising move considering the show first hit the air less than a year ago – in late January, right before the Super Bowl – and, according to Awful Announcing, hasn’t been doing THAT bad in terms of viewership.
It’s possible that, with fall and winter sports seasons coming up, the network axed the program to make room for more football and hockey content, as those sports have been the network’s strong points thus far.
