WFAN’s Mike Francesa is one of the most popular sports talk show hosts not only in New York but in the entire country as well. He isn’t exactly known for being the most polite or compassionate (or even the most awake) guy in the business, but we also now know that he’s not exactly the most romantic either.
During his drive-time show yesterday, a caller named Moe in New Jersey called Francesa and was about to nervously propose to his girlfriend “in front of the whole New York” before Francesa cut him off and went straight to the next caller without missing a beat or even addressing Moe.
That’s cold.
