For some dumb reason, the above Coca-Cola ad – which aired during last night’s Super Bowl- didn’t sit well with a lot of people. The ad focuses on the cultural melting pot that is the United States using a multilingual version of ‘America The Beautiful’ and, apparently, people thought that song was reserved for English only.
In my proud American opinion, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this spot. America should be proud of it’s multicultural population and the people who take issue with stuff like this need to learn to become more tolerant.
Instead of being pissed off at a commercial that highlights cultural diversity, maybe spend a little more time being outraged at national issues that matter.
