As is tradition in this century, a pirated copy of a newly released film is making its way around various torrent sites on the Internet. In this case, a video camera version of Kick-Ass 2, which was filmed by someone in a movie theater. What makes this version stand out is the guy pirating the movie assuming some sense of moral high ground, and actually shushing an audience member for interrupting his illegal recording. Here’s the exchange, as transcribed by BadAss Digest:
Listen mate, I’m trying to record this so if your friend can’t eat that a little more quietly I’m going to rip your fucking balls off. If you don’t think that’s fair, life ain’t fair. Shut the fuck up.
Naturally, there’s been suspicion over the clip’s authenticity, but there appear to be enough YouTube comments (from users who downloaded and watched this particular copy) to render this legit.
