It appears we’re in for another round of the NBC late night shuffle, as recent reports have indicated the Peacock is moving swiftly to insert Jimmy Fallon into The Tonight Show slot by 2014 — replacing Jay Leno, who has held serve at 11:35 for two decades. The news has been met with various jabs by Leno in his nightly monologue, but on Monday night, Leno and Fallon came together (via phone call because opposite coasts, ya know) to have a little fun with all the gossip.
