Jay-Z and Drake have been going at each other for the past couple months.
Quick history:
1. In a Rolling Stone interview, Drake criticized Jay-Z for using too many art references in his latest music.
2. Jay-Z didn’t like that. On a record with Jay Electronica, he responded: “Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk/ Silly me rapping about shit that I bought.”
3. Drizzy came back in his single “Draft Day” with a bunch of subliminal shots and lines like: “I’m focused on making records and getting bigger/ Just hits, no misses, that’s for the married folk…”
In Jay-Z’s latest verse on DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More” Hov seemingly goes back in on Drake while dragging the whole sport of lacrosse through the mud….
Haters wanna ball, let me tighten up my draw string/ Wrong sport, boy, you know you’re as soft as a Lacrosse team.
