Thanks to the NY Magazine online we are able to finally track all of the “Huh’s, ‘Hah’s, and ‘Heh’s” from his recently released “Watch the Throne” album with HOVA. Here is a little more background;
Much has been made of the astonishing number of brands and products Kanye West and Jay-Z mention by name on Watch the Throne. But more surprising than the number of references to watches and cars and planes and specific brands of alcohol and fancy hotels, etc., is the sheer number of times Kanye West says “huh.” It’s a lot of times! (Sometimes he says “heh” or “hah” or another syllable in the “huh” family.) It’s a stylistic tic Kanye’s had for years, but it really stands out here. Watch this compilation, and let’s all grunt along with Kanye!
