Foo Fighters have released the first song from their upcoming Sonic Highways album. The track, “Something From Nothing,” was recorded at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio studio in Chicago. Each track was recorded in eight different US cities in a different historic studio each time. “Something From Nothing” was originally going to be heard first on Letterman during their week long residency, but it seems like the band just couldn’t wait.
Sonic Highways gets released November 10th and the HBO mini series of the same name debuts Friday October 17th.
