I feel like Eminem never sleeps. He’s on one of the biggest tours of the Summer with Rihanna, he headlined this year’s Lollapalooza, and performed at England’s Wembley Stadium. When does he have time to record a new album?! That question will never be answered but either way, Em surprised the world last night by announcing Shady XV.
According to Billboard, Shady XV will be a double disc Black Friday release featuring greatest hits on the first disc and new material on the second. The announcement, made last night during the VMA’s, features “Guts Over Fear” (feat. Sia) as the album’s lead single. The track is also expected to be included in the soundtrack for the upcoming movie The Equalizer.
Along with the single, Em released a teaser video for XV featuring clips spanning the rapper’s career. Another fun fact, the Black Friday release is also the 15 year anniversary of The Slim Shady LP, I bet the XV part of Shady XV makes more sense now huh?
