The Gathering of the Juggalos, an annual festival organized by Insane Clown Posse, announced that Charlie Sheen will host an evening during one of the four nights of the event. Dustin Diamond (Screech from television show Saved by the Bell) and Flavor Flav have also been confirmed to host at the gathering. The event features concerts from genres of hip-hop and rock, wrestling, autograph sessions with the artists, and more. Performers at this year’s festivities include Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, Lil Jon, Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, Paul Wall, Ice Cube, Mystikal, DJ Quik, Tech N9ne, E–40, and Juvenile.
The festival has garnered much controversy in the past. Last year reality show star Tila Tequila was assaulted by Juggalos (the name given to followers of the group ICP) when they through rocks, human excrement, and bottles at her and her trailer. Method Man, hip-hop artist and member of Wu-Tang Clan, was also injured last year when a full can of beer was thrown on stage during his performance with Redman and cut the rapper’s face. Method Man barely flinched at the injury and told the crowd, “Start the music, we’re continuing the show. Let’s f— these motherf—ers up!”
Now in its 12th year, The Gathering of the Juggalos will take place from August 11th through August 14th in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois. You can purchase tickets and read more about the festival at The Gathering of the Juggalos website.
