National Donut Day can celebrated in a variety of donut-related ways, including the most obvious: Stuffing your face with piles of donuts. The celebratory donut day as been held on the first Friday on June every year since 1938 and it started for a pretty cool reason. Men and women served free donuts to soldiers that served in World War I and The Salvation Army felt those donut-serving folks deserved their own day.
