I am not sure what happened in 2014, but it feels like CNN decided to put a 14 year-old former Buzzfeed employee in charge of their Twitter account, and the result hasn’t been pretty. I understand the need to ‘spice things up a bit,’ but given the fact that you are Tweeting about tragedies and world news, you may want to ease off the dumbassery click-bait.
I was going to make this a list for 2014, but there was plenty in just the past 7 days to make my point clear.
