Last week, Game of Thrones once again took a popular and charismatic character and then proceeded to savagely murder him for your entertainment. In the much anticipated fight between Oberyn “the Red Viper” Martell and Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane, fan-favorite Oberyn had the battle won, until he didn’t:
