Actress and noted Kentucky Wildcats fan Ashley Judd was at yesterday’s SEC title game between UK and Arkansas in Nashville. ESPN Dick Vitale was also there covering the game and the two crossed paths prior to tip-off. Dickie V apparently decided Judd needed a good luck kiss before she watched Kentucky try to finish off their perfect regular season and – from the looks of things – Judd didn’t exactly agree.
Rough start to the day for the actress, but her boys in blue took home a 78-63 victory for the conference hardware, plus a top overall seed in the big dance. Overall, not a bad trade-off. Heck, I’d let Dickie V kiss me on the mouth if it meant a championship for my favorite team.
If Judd is superstitious, she might want to lay one on Vitale prior to every UK game in the upcoming tournament.
