Hardly a year after being abducted at gunpoint and held captive for nearly a day in almost the same location, baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr.’s mother, Violet Ripken has fallen victim to another attack.
TMZ reports, Violet Ripken was leaving an NBRS bank Tuesday in Aberdeen, when she was confronted by a handgun-wielding man in the parking lot. Vi told cops the man demanded her car. Ripken was ultimately able to sound the panic alarm on her vehicle, and luckily she was unharmed int he ordeal.
But twice in two years? It has to be some sort of coincidence, right? Unless, there’s something about Mrs. Ripken we don’t know about.
