Singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her apartment in London Saturday, the UK Press Association reported. She was only 27 years old.
“On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene,” a police statement said.
“At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained,” police said.
Winehouse has a history of battling drug addiction, but recently seemed like she had turned a corner. Our hearts go out to all touched by this.
