Crater Lake (Southern Oregon)
The deepest lake in the US, located in Southern Oregon. It was created when volcano Mount Mazama erupted and the volcano’s top collapsed; the lake now fills that caldera. There are plenty of activities for people to do, bicycling, fishing, hiking, camping and boat tours. During the winter season, you can go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.
