View Points
You can never go wrong with a beautiful look out point. Here are three beautiful look out spots that show off amazing views of the city by the bay.
Twin Peaks: Often crowded, but the view is phenomenal. You can see all of San Francisco, and pictures turn out really well. Unless you’re feeling super active, driving is recommended since it’s up a giant hill. Drive South-West on Market St. for about two miles, make a Right on Twin Peaks Boulevard and follow all the way to the top.
Coit Tower: Located in Telegraph Hill in Pioneer Park, this historical landmark shows off panoramic views of San Francisco. There’s 360 degree views of SF, both Golden Gate and Bay Bridge, Alcatraz and plenty more. There’s also painted murals inside on the first floor. It’s only $5 to get to the observation deck by elevator.
Lands End: For a relaxing look out spot, Lands end is the place. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, check out the beach, views of old shipwreck and Sutro Baths.
