The Ohio State Buckeyes are widely expected to have one of the most talented rosters in the entire country this upcoming season. But former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is even taking it a step further than that.
During a recent interview, Urban Meyer claimed that this current Ohio State roster might be one of the most talented rosters in the history of college football.
“As of now, this is one of the most talented rosters in the last decade, maybe ever,” Meyer said in a video shared by Adam King of 10TV in Columbus, Ohio.
"This is one of the most talented rosters in the last decade, maybe ever."

Meyer understood just how bold of a claim that was, but he didn’t back down.
“I mean, that’s a big statement. They’ve got to play,” Meyer said. “But if you look at the quality of athlete at every position, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Meyer, of course, is no stranger to talented football teams as he led some of the most talented teams in college football history during his head coaching career leading the Florida Gators to two national championships in 2006 and 200 and the Ohio State Buckeyes to one title back in 2014.
We’ll have to see if the team lives up to Meyer’s expectations this season.
