Over the weekend, the 2024 Olympic Games officially opened in Paris, France, but one Ohio State Buckeyes star was not at all happy with what he saw during the opening ceremony.
The performances at the opening ceremony from Paris included drag queens among other performers appearing to parody the iconic painting “The Last Supper,” showing Jesus sharing a final meal with his disciples before his crucifixion. And former Ohio State Buckeyes star running back Master Teague III was not happy about it.
“Hello Olympics. The audacity and irreverence of your opening performance towards Christ and Christianity is appalling and unacceptable. Such blatant disrespect can not go unchallenged. I condemn this in the name of Jesus and fervently pray for repentance among those responsible for this vile display. God will not be mocked. Ultimately, it is the Lord who will be exalted, not the perverse desires showcased in this performance. Those who choose to take a stand against God are courting death and destruction, and it will not pass you by,” Teague said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

“REPENT, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Teague spent four seasons with the Ohio State Buckeyes where he rushed for 1,764 yards and averaged 5.5 yards per carry, scoring 17 rushing touchdowns.
