Ohio State Buckeyes superstar wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has not yet officially announced whether or not he will enter the NFL Draft, though it’s widely assumed that he will not be playing for Ohio State next season as he would likely be a top-five pick if he did declare.
If he has indeed played his final snap for the Buckeyes, he had a message for the fans during his Heisman Trophy media availability in New York over the weekend.
“I just want them to know that I worked extremely hard throughout my college career and did everything I could to put on a show every Saturday for them, entertain them,” Harrison Jr. said according to On3. “I always appreciate the love and support that give Buckeye players each and every Saturday.”
Harrison has left the door open for a potential return to Ohio State next season, citing his desire to beat the Michigan Wolverines and play in the Big Ten Championship game. He’s claimed that his decision will not come down to money, but it’s still difficult to imagine that he would pass up the chance to become a top-five pick in the NFL Draft.
We’ll have to see what he ultimately decides to do.
