The Brian Kelly era at Louisiana State University hasn’t gone as swimmingly as either party imagined when he left the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to become the head guy for the LSU Tigers.
Kelly stated that he left Notre Dame to allow himself to compete for national championships. Unfortunately, LSU has failed to make the college football playoff under Kelly, and his replacement at Notre Dame, Marcus Freeman has the Fighting Irish playing in the national championship.
Now, Kelly has to add some major, and downright disturbing off-the-field issues to the massive on-the-field disappointments.
“LSU standout Kyren Lacy wanted on charges of negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run,” reported WAFB on Friday.

“We just watched Walter Brister IV receive probation for a hit run homicide. Let’s see how this plays out. I’m sure very different,” one fan added.
“This is heartbreaking. Praying for all involved,” another fan added.
“I knew this kid was bound for trouble. You can just sense it by his on the field antics,” wrote someone else.
This is devastating news for all parties involved.
