The Ohio State Buckeyes were left stunned after losing to their archrival Michigan Wolverines at home despite entering the game as 20-point favorites. Luckily for the Buckeyes, they’re still all but guaranteed to make the expanded 12-team college football playoff.
However, they’re going to have to get the ship right without one of their most important players.
“Ohio State offensive tackle Josh Simmons has declared for the NFL draft. Simmons had season-ending knee surgery after the Oregon game, but his new agent Drew Rosenhaus said surgery went well and he’s already ahead of schedule with his rehab. “Josh will be fully cleared for practice by the start of NFL training camp and he will be a high first-round pick,” said Rosenhaus, who will represent Simmons along with Robert Bailey and Oliver Chell,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
