After leading the Michigan Wolverines to a national championship last month, Jim Harbaugh decided to leave the program to become the next head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. But even though he will not be the head coach at Michigan any longer, it looks like new head coach Sherrone Moore is not going to forget his predecessor.
In a photo shared by Michigan Football and Basketball Recruiting Reporter Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider, it looks like new Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore has installed a bust of Jim Harbaugh onto the bookshelf of his office.
“A quick glimpse at #Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore’s office decor,” Marich said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
It makes sense that Moore would want to show his respect to Harbaugh after taking over as the program’s next head coach. After all, Moore did coach under Harbaugh for several years before taking over as the head coach in his place following his departure to the NFL.
It’s clear that Moore has some big shoes to fill as he replaces a national champion head coach. We’ll have to see how he performs in the role.
