The Colorado Buffaloes suffered an absolutely embarrassing loss this weekend, falling to the Stanford Cardinal in overtime by a score of 46-43 despite leading the game at halftime by a score of 29-0. And based on what Deion Sanders had to say to his team after the game, it’s safe to say he wasn’t happy about their performance.

Following the game, Deion Sanders addressed his team in the locker room where he absolutely blasted his players for their “pathetic” performance. He had some absolutely brutal words for his team.

“You’re not going to be taken care of,” Sanders said. “You’re not going to be looked after. You’re not going to have the luxuries of all this and you’re going to have to go out there and get it on your own and work your butt off. Because ain’t nobody going to give you nothing. I don’t think you understand what this world consists of.

“What we just did today was pathetic. All the love that you received, all the coverage you received — you’re getting ready to see that flip. And don’t get beside yourself on social media and start responding to the foolishness. Because they’re right. They’re right.”

The speech quickly went viral on social media as people offered their reactions.

It’s safe to say he wasn’t happy. It will be interesting to see how they bounce back after the disappointing showing.
