Earlier this week, Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders decided to dismiss defensive lineman Bishop Thomas from the team. And it sounds like he’s now dismissed another player.
According to BuffsBeat, Tar’Varish Dawson has been dismissed from the Colorado Buffaloes football team by Deion Sanders after dealing with what was described as “a personal matter.”
“I’m disappointed that I’m no longer with my teammates at Colorado,” Dawson told BuffsBeat. “It’s an unfortunate situation, but I’m excited for my future and being able to take my talents elsewhere. I’m thankful for the opportunity Coach Prime and his staff gave me in Boulder. I’m just a kid from Fort Myers like he was and it means a lot. With that said, I’m ready to work and will be entering the transfer portal this spring.”
Tar’Varish Dawson initially signed with the Auburn Tigers out of high school. Dawson was rated as a four-star prospect who was ranked No. 351 in the 2021 high school recruiting class. After one season with the Tigers, Dawson decided to leave the team to join Deion Sanders in Boulder. But after just one season with the Buffs, it seems that he will now finish his college career somewhere else.
