Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark is arguably the most dominant college basketball to ever play the game. She’s scored more points than anyone else in the history of NCAA basketball, men’s or women’s – and has been virtually unstoppable by anyone she’s played against.
This week, Caitlin Clark was officially named an Associated Press All-American, surprising nobody, and Iowa coach Lisa Bluder had some pretty high praise for her superstar player.
As Bluder points out, every single team sets out to specifically shut down Clark every time she steps out onto the court. And so far, nobody has really figured out a way to do it.
“That is mind-boggling when you think about it,” Bluder said according to ESPN. “I mean, everybody’s defensive plan is to stop her, and nobody’s been able to figure out really how to do it. She’s faced every kind of defense. She really knows how to pick them apart.”
Clark is now leading her team into the NCAA Tournament where she will try to will them to the championship game yet again and avenge last season’s title-game loss to the LSU Tigers.
We’ll have to see whether or not she can end her college career with a championship.
