Los Angeles Chargers fans were probably delighted to hear what Joey Bosa said about his new head coach this week.

After a few disappointing seasons, the Chargers fired Brandon Staley and went on to hire Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh, who won a National Championship at his alma mater Michigan at 2023, returns to the NFL after his successful run with the San Francisco 49ers in the early 2010s.

Harbaugh always brings a noteworthy sense of discipline and leadership with him wherever he goes. It appears that’s already made a positive impact on the Chargers. Bosa is among those who have been in favor of how things have gone so far. In praising Harbaugh, Bosa appeared to throw shade on previous coaching staffs.

Chargers Wire writer Alex Insdorf quoted Bosa as saying, “It feels like coach is leading the team the way it should be led” regarding Harbaugh. “The message is being sent from the top and it’s not being mixed up moving down the ladder.”

Hearing this kind of talk caused a stir for Chargers fans… but in a positive way. Sort of.
