As Donald Trump continues his presidential campaign, challenging Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential election, it sounds like he has earned the support of one former NFL star.
In a passionate video he shared on social media, former NFL star Shawne Merriman announced his strong support for Donald Trump and he did not hold back his thoughts on Trump and those who voiced their opinions about him shortly after he was nearly killed.
“If you disagree with his political views, I got no problem with that. We can still be friends. I’m voting for him,” Merriman said in the video. “I took a stance where I unfollowed people and now I’m not talking to them because I seen them make comments that they wish something had happened. I don’t want to talk to you, I don’t want to associate with you if that’s your stance. Somebody lost their life who was there. He had nothing to do with anything. He was a firefighter who could’ve possibly ran into a house and saved you.”

Huge Chargers fan and even though I’m voting the other side, I got mad respect for you still. You don’t push your beliefs onto others nor belittle anyone else for theirs. You’re a real one and I appreciate that. 🫡
