After cutting former starting quarterback Russell Wilson earlier this offseason, the Denver Broncos are in need of a new starter. The team added veteran quarterback Zach Wilson by way of a trade with the New York Jets, but it sounds like they could be interested in a quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft, too.

According to a report from NFL insider Albert Breer of SI.com, the Broncos seem quite interested in Oregon Ducks star Bo Nix leading up to the draft.

“The Broncos quietly did a lot of work on Oregon QB Bo Nix—they had an hour-long Zoom with him on March 7, then sent a Sean Payton-led contingent to Eugene to work him out on March 18, per sources. So interest is there. Fit, too. But not having a 2nd-rounder could complicate it,” Breer said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Obviously, the fact that the Broncos seem interested in Nix led to a lot of reactions on social media.

It will be interesting to see whether the Broncos select him with the No. 12 overall pick, trade back in the draft and select him later, or simply choose somebody else entirely.
