San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk won’t let the trade rumors stop him from getting on the field. The 49ers star will report to training camp amid rumors the team could deal him away.
Aiyuk seeks a new contract from the Niners, who haven’t budged off their stance quite yet. The two sides remain far apart, but Aiyuk will get his feet wet.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported the news of Aiyuk’s current status.

“49ers star WR Brandon Aiyuk is reporting to training camp,” Rapoport wrote, before noting his desires to still have a new contract.
In 62 career games, the former Arizona State standout has racked up 269 receptions, 3,931 yards, and 25 carer touchdowns. Last season, he hauled in 75 receptions, recorded 1,342 yards, and caught seven touchdowns. He’s reeled in 4,048 yards from scrimmage in his four years in the league.
After two seasons with five touchdowns, Aiyuk broke out with eight in 2022. He followed that up with seven last season with a career-high in yards.
Last season, for his efforts, he was named to the NFL’s All-Pro Second Team.
Aiyuk’s status will be one of the biggest storylines of NFL training camp.
