Arch Manning will be in College Football 25, after all. Ahead of EA Sports’ much-anticipated college football title’s release, one of the country’s most prominent college football players announced he’d be in the game.

The Texas quarterback initially decided to opt out of the anticipated video game. But, it seems that along the way, a resolution was made.

“I’m IN the game,” Manning announced on social media. Manning’s announcement came along with a commercial with his uncle Eli Manning.

Manning was one of the most touted high school recruits in some time before his commitment. His namesake certainly helps, and his talent has been raved about in many football circles. He might be second on the depth chart to Quinn Ewers right now, but his day with the Longhorns is coming. Make no mistake about it.

EA Sports’ College Football 25 will be the first college football video game since 2013. Their last title, NCAA Football 14, was the last time anybody saw a college sports video game. The O’Bannon v. NCAA case led to previously inescapable hurdles.

With the advent of NIL and other changes, the college football video game’s possibility to resurface increased over the years. While some doubted it would ever come, we’re now a little over a week away from its release. Gamers everywhere have been waiting over a decade for this moment.

The sports world had much to say over the exciting news about Arch Manning and his status for College Football 25.
