Breaking Bad protagonist Walter White was a simple man turned evil. The once goodhearted chemistry teacher has a laundry list of atrocious acts from the show including bombing a nursing home, killing a lot of people, poisoning a child, turning on his friends, brother-in-law and his wife. Despite all of these despicable acts, viewers still had a bond with the character. So what is the one thing that Breaking Bad writers decided was too heinous to make WW? Breaking Bad co-executive producer Thomas Schnauz answers the intriguing inquiry:
Unused #BreakingBad scene where Walt became Phillies fan, but we realized that would make him too unlikable. pic.twitter.com/WBf7GS2Nj1

That’s right, if the villainous character donned a Philadelphia Phillies jersey he would be so despised that the viewers would no longer root for him. Sorry Philly, America is never going to get over that booing of Santa Claus.
