Oregon’s defensive back Terrance Mitchell had the distinct honor of being the second player on Saturday (and 3rd of the short season) to be ejected for targeting. Terrance took it upon himself to go headfirst into a sliding Nicholls State quarterback and the result was a well deserved ejection. Beaux Herbert was luckily not injured on the play. Not smart, big fella.
You can check out why Texas A&M’s Deshazor Everett was also ejected for targeting HERE.
