Robinson Cano has propelled the vastly depleted New York Yankees to the American League East leader. His fast start will help him in his negotiations when he becomes the most coveted free agent next year, but Cano wants to display that he is a franchise player that can also be a huge contributor off the field. Nick D’Annibale is a 13-year-old fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) so the MLB Fan Cave thought it would be a great idea for him to stop by and play some street baseball. During their game an ice cream truck interrupts play, but what happens next is much better than any Choco Taco. Out of the ice cream truck pops Cano, who is Nick’s favorite player. Nick not only gets to play baseball with the best second baseman, but also shares some ice cream. This is definitely the sweetest story.
