NBA Commissioner David Stern isn’t known for any particular style other than what we can only describe as “really rich lawyer in a suit”. However, when it comes to grooming (hair, specifically) we can’t help but notice when he mixes things up. Normally, that only involves various forms of facial hair — Stern ‘Stache, Lockout Beard — but Monday night at LeBron James’ MVP trophy presentation, he added a new twist: slicked back hair.
Perhaps it’s an homage to LeBron’s boss, Miami Heat general manager Pat Riley, but it still represents an incredible departure for Stern (speaking of departures, only 238 shopping days left to buy him a retirement gift!), and kind of makes him look like a colossal asshole. You know, instead of just a regular-sized asshole.
