Just shut it down. No album of 2013 seems to be more anticipated than Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories. We’re roughly one month away from its release, and their marketing plan has been perfect so far. The latest spot features Pharrell Williams singing over the same beat that debuted in a 15-second teaser in early March — both of which ran during Saturday Night Live.
Also, if those spiffy monochrome outfits Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter are wearing seem extra fancy, they are. Yves Saint Laurent has a collaboration going with them in connection with the new album.
