The 27-year-old rookie launched air balls on three straight possessions in a 40-second span Wednesday night in Detroit, prompting Pistons color analyst Rick Mahorn Greg Kelser to chime in with the following: “one of these days, they’re gonna take away a point for an air ball”. That comment came after the first air ball — after Mirza’s consecutive fails, the Nets might have to take away his career.
