Ole Miss and Vanderbilt faced off last night in what was assumed to be a rather uneventful game, but it was quite the opposite. In the final 30 seconds of play, the game was tied at 75 when Vanderbilt ran a drive-and-kick to the corner and Vandy’s Kevin Bright drilled what the crowd thought was going to be a game-winning three pointer. But with 3.2 seconds left on the clock, Ole Miss got the ball just past half court and Marshall Henderson launched a deeeeep three and he nailed it, sending the game into overtime.
Ole Miss went on to defeat Vanderbilt 89-79 in overtime to remain unbeaten in SEC play.
