A few days ago we posted the second trailer for Rockstar’s highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V. While you wait patiently (or impatiently) for its release in Spring 2013, tide yourself over with Grand Theft Auto: RISE, a live action short written and directed by Gevorg Karensky. RISE is based on the most recent full installment, Grand Theft Auto IV, and follows protagonist Niko Bellic through a series of heart-pounding sequences in order to recover a cell phone. It’s pretty impressive for a fan-made piece, and there’s a “making-of” mini-doc as well.
