And then there’s the Man in the Middle — the Man who brought attitude and a semblance of defense to the Big Apple. Tyson Chandler showed his true grit last night, taking this unintentional shot to the groin on a Tim Duncan drive. How did he respond? He immediately caught a lob on the other end and threw it down. Yes, it’s still early, but a comeback win over the Spurs on the road is a solid resume booster.
