After their preseason loss to the Sacramento Kings, some of the Lakers had the privilege of meeting the Stanley Cup in the locker room at Staples Center. Of course, Kobe merely gave it a glance, and Steve Nash, being the Canadian hero that he is, has met the Cup far too many times to care. Metta World Peace however, had never seen the greatest trophy in all of sports. He was like a little kid, completely in awe of it, and had several questions the keeper, one of which didn’t make the video:
What we’ve learned:
1. Ron Artest doesn’t know very much about hockey, but he knows the Stanley Cup is awesome.
2. He eats almonds as a post-game snack.
3. George Washington wasn’t able to make it out of his grave to meet the Stanley Cup.
